Office Manager

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Office Manager to organize and coordinate office operations in order to ensure continued organization effectiveness and efficiency.

 

Ideal candidate must have management experience in Residential Real Estate in rentals and/or sales; as well as Commercial Real Estate.  Successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and motivating of a team of agents, training new agents, advertising and lead generation, deal closing, listing properties and supervision.  The individual should possess a firm yet friendly and professional demeanor and must be vigilant with all matters relating to the office to ensure a high level of confidentiality and discretion.  Reliable transportation required.

 

Only candidates with Real Estate experience and Broker's License will be considered.  Local applicants only.

 

Responsibilities:

•             Recruiting, training, leading and motivating teams of agents

•             Evaluate staff performance

•             Marketing and lead generation

•             Supervising and overview of agents' advertising

•             Lead handling and supervising of appointment scheduling

•             Appointment follow up with agents

•             Deal closing and negotiations

•             Rental and board package preparation

•             Hit and maintain revenue targets set by management

•             List properties for rent and for sale

•             Point of contact for clients, vendors, and brokers via phone, email and letter.

•             Oversight and maintenance of the firm's client files.

•             Property management (including but not limited to) walk-through and rent payment collection.

•             Prepare real estate contracts.

•             Ensure office procedures are followed in accordance with policies mandated by our firm and NYS Division of Licensing Services.

•             Maintain office showcase.

•             Be able to enter listings on the MLS and office website when needed.

•             Schedule agent floor time.

•             Maintain accurate account of operating and escrow accounts.

•             Track agent commissions.

•             Prepare annual 1099s.

•             Maintain accurate records of agent and personnel files.

 

Requirements:

•             A New York State broker's or salesperson's license

•             5+ years sales and/or rentals experience

•             Management experience in Real Estate

•             Experience in recruiting and training of Real Estate agents

•             Knowledge of landlords and management companies

•             Experience in all aspects of lead generation including marketing and advertising

•             Excellent communications, leadership and organizational skills

•             Proven ability to motivate and lead a team

•             Good coaching skills

•             An energetic, positive and professional demeanor
